I'm placing my order for KTS coilovers tomorrow morning and I wanted to see what wheel/tire/offset combination everyone is using to clear coilovers up front on an S14 240.

Right now I'm running 18x8.5 +24 offset with 245/40/18 tires. I'm definately going to pull the fender lining and roll the fender lips, but my main concern was with the coilover clearance.

My buddy said he swap me out his 235 width tires for my 245's beforehand, but I just wanted to get some more input on if I really need to worry just yet.

you will have no problem with the rims clearing the shock. in the rear, that tire will be fine and will have ample clearance 100%. in the front, id bet it clears, but i cant be totally sure. ive had 17x9 +15 with a 235 and 17x9 +20 with a 225, neither had any rubbing problems, but i cant remember exactly how close the tires were to the shock body.

Haha, well thanks for the little reassurance

I'll post up with how the fitment is after I put on all the goodies in a couple weeks.

id say worse case scenario you would need a 5mm spacer or so, so no biggie
