i have a 90 240sx coupe with factory suspension. i got my 18x8.5's for the front and it rubs my coils. my tire size is 245 40 18 and i understand i may have to run a 6mm spacer on 4 lug set ups like mine. im not sure if that will b enough. can someone help me with this. i've searched but to find no specific answers concerning this problem. thanks in advance

It doesn't really matter if they are 18's or not if they are rubbing your coils, thats sounds more like a matter of offset, with 18x8.5 I think a lot of people run +20 without too many issues.

Wait... you have factory suspension, but you have coils? Do you mean your springs? And whats the offset of the wheels?

If you're using a 25mm hubcentric spacer, get ready for more headaches. I'd go with the 30mm unless its a slip on spacer...

yea my fault i meant springs. i bought the sportmaxx 006 18x9.5 for the back and 18x8.5 for the front. i can't remember the offset off the top of my head n don't have much time to check right now.
