I can probably find a working coil fairly easily.driverdriver wrote:Welcome to NICO!!!
There is no sure fire way to tell if its a coil or injector (happened to me) other than switching a non working coil with a working one and seeing what happens.
Have you ohm tested your injectors. They should be within the 10 to 14 ohm range.
Yeah, you don't have to GO find another working coil. You already have 5 others that you know are good. Swap and see what happens.edgartheace wrote:One way to know if it is the coil is just swap Coils 4 and 6. If the cylinder giving you trouble jumps to four now then its the coil. If it stays at six then it is your number six injector that went bad. Another way is to use a mechanics stethoscpoe on the number 6 injector and listen for the loud clicking of the injector firing, or just check the injecter resistance. It should be between 12-16 Ohms. If it is infinate resistance replace it.
Ha, that's a great point. I'll try the swap idea.gr8scott72 wrote:

If it's your coil, email me and we can work something out. I have a few spares.
