is there any reason to do an LSx coil swap other then being able to walk into any parts store and pick up the coilpacks?

Well if you have bad coils and or ignitor. Then you wont have to worry about 20 year old parts going bad. Splitfires are crazy $$ . And LS coils put out more spark. Helps especially if your blowing out your spark. Easier to time your car.You can buy them locally if need be.They stay cooler than in between the head and under the coil cover.

ConsYou gotta find a place to mount them. And wire them up.
