Interesting link. I've found a way out by elevating the rear spring seats with rubber spacers. I think I've achieved some 0.7inch increase. I'm pleased with the effect of the improvisation. Probably my springs are beginning to weaken, though this is imperceptible for now. Only issue is they have to be tight with the cars load off of the springs otherwise they may fall out while driving.
