hey how do i check if the coil packs in my car still work?

measure impeadance, if one reds higher or lower or open you have a bad one, also if you have a misfire you can move the questionable coil to a differetn coil and determine if the miss follows it

BTW what are the specs on impeadance??I need to do that check myself. Thanks

Primary is 0.7 ohms, secondary is 8.0 Kohms. Find it in the Factory Service Manual EF & EC 190

You can also remove the coil pack but leave it plugged in, plug in a spark plug, ground the outer part of the plug to engine block and turn the engine over to see if it fires, just don't shock yourself. That will at least tell you if it's working
