Coil packs not firing

Ok, I just put my sr in about a week ago. At first all it would do when I tried to turn it over was back fire. So last night we checked the timing and the CAS they were both in timing. So next we took the coil out to check if they were firing. Cylinder number one didnt fire at all, cylinder two, three, and four would fire then stop. I checked my ignitor to see if it were wired right and it was, I have a Z32 ignitor so we took the one off my friends 300zx and it did the same thing. Anybody know whats wrong? Could it be my wiring or could the CAS be bad? I really need help with this because I'm going crazy

Have you checked all the grounds?

Especially the one from the back of the head to the firewall? Is oxidation built up on any of the contacts?
