coil pack.....

ok i cant figure out why im not getting fire to 3 cylinder! i know my coil packs are good,ecu,and ignitor chip is good.ive checked wiring ,and it all was correct,ive checked all the fuses and none blown! what could be my problem?i was told that it could be that the harness could be a type x harness.is there any way to tell if this is so?anything i could look for to tell me if it was a type x?also.i put the mutimeter on the coil packs today and both of the hot wires that run to each of the couls read like 10.75dcv,are both of the hot wires to the coil packs suppose to have juice when the key is in the run position?if the V numbers are not as high as they should ,it could be due to my battery now being fully charged.another thing is evryonce in a while it will fire on a different cylinder.when i 1st dropped it in ,it was firing on the 1st and 3rd cylinders,then a week later it was firing on just the 3rd cylinder,a week after that it was 1st and 4th,now this week its only the 4th?!?!?! i dunna what the problem could be,any suggestions???kinda sounds to me like maybe the ecu isnt sending the signals to all the coil acks or somthin. i sent it to HT and they said it was fine,but i dunno. the ECU was the only thing that i didnt try out on another SR,but like i said HT said it was fine!!!

Yes, I actually went up there to try and help him get it running. We took the coilpacks and the ignitor chip out and they started and ran fine in my car.

Did you also swap ECU's to check?

....no but heavy throttle said it was fine.maybe i do need to swap out the ecu though!! anything else yll think it could be?
