coil pack questions

i upgraded my ignition to msd 6btm & blaster 2 coil. However, i 've been driving with stock coil and power transistor in place, coil disconnected, power transistor connected

I wonder if i should keep the stock power transistor, which is next to the coil. Because i called up msd and they say i should keep the power transistor.

But i doubt it, and i cant find kyle's stock coil and power transister on his ka24det (his homepage). He is using msd 6a and blaster 2 coil too.

And, after installing both of them, i get a engine code for ignition. How do i solve the problem? or just ignore it?
