I have a coil pack misfiring and seen a couple threads about a VW coil packs that will work with mod and fire hotter? Repalce then all and upgrade or just replace the one giving issues?
Suggestions??

I would skip the VW ones, your just asking for trouble. Getting your car to just run as best it can in OEM condition is really the goal with a car of this age. I would suggest finding 8 and doing the whole thing in one big job, if one is failing the others are not far behind.

^ Correct. The OEM ones are more than sufficient for the VH, and I'm betting the VW ones are NOT an upgrade (if they were, we'd know about it).

Definitely try to replace them all at once, as they tend to have similar life expectancies. We've got a few OEM suppliers here on the site who can probably hook you up with a nice discount on them.

How did you determine that it's a bad coil pack? They are very rare failure items on this era of the Q45... Injectors fail frequently.

I replaced the one that was producing a black plug and studder stopped. I could see it fire from black case to steel casing too.

Nice! That's a pretty sure sign of a failure, haha!
