make sure it's not an auto ECU. If it's a AUTO ecu it's needs to be at 20.

how would you be able to tell what kind of ecu you got? i know when i first got my motor it came with a SII ecu so i had to trade it but unsure as to what it is. why would it being auto matter?

I know on the RB20's if it's an Auto ECU the timing needs to be at 20deg vs 15 degs or the car runs like azz. Not sure about the RB25's tho.
