I've searched and can't find this topic. Will G35 coil overs fit my 06 m35? Are they interchangeable?
Thanks for all help.

They may fit but the M is heavier so the spings may not be rated for that weight. Since you already have them I would try it out. If the springs are too weak adjust the preload a bit more.

I called Tein and they told me "after their disclaimer" lol that they will fit physically just the spring rate is different, as you stated.
The kit the guy has the springs are 500 lbs/in front & rear. The Tein site show various rates for the M as being 390, 430,670 for front and 510 or 560 for rears.
I can get these for $500. Not sure though.
What doth the forum sayeth? lol

Tein H&S springs are very poplular with the M's and I have never heard of any problems with them but Tein coilovers have a bad rep. thus the reason you don't see that many around

Ye beseech us fellow forum feres for advice?! Well henceforth I bequeath this knowledge to thee.

Seriously though, for $500 you can give them a try. TIEN's are very well known in the tuner world so reselling them (Should they not work out) shouldn't be an issue. I have the D2's and after 1 month am still trying to find the correct settings for a smooth but firm ride. I don't think the D2 dampers can handle changing compression and rebound adjustments separately and really the 36 way adjustability is BS. It's really just 36 clicks of varying levels of stiffness or compression/rebound valving. Real quality shocks for a Daily Driver require more than just one setting for compression/rebound. They should have high speed/low speed compression and rebound all separately adjustable. Sometimes you want that high speed compression to be stiff for the larger dips in the road that normally make the car buck and lower speed compression to help with the smaller bumps in the roadway. Then compression should be softer than rebound as well. My D2's are now set at 10/10 F/R. I went from 36/20 F/R to 25/20 F/R to 20/20 F/R to 20/10 F/R to 15/10 F/R to now 10/10 F/R and honestly it's stupid because in the harder settings the shock barely moves causing the ride to be really bouncy and harsh. The softer settings cause the car to buck like a wild horse and hitting speeds upwards of 80 km/hr on a rough road is scary wild!
In hindsight I should have bought the OEM struts/shocks with Espiler springs to lower the car instead of these stupid coilovers.
