Coil On Plug for a KA?

I was thinking after looking at the ECU pinouts that it might be possible to do a wasted spark coil on plug (COP) on a KA. There is a 1 degree signal and a 180 degree signal for a capitive spark box such as the AEM or what not. Is it possible or has anyone tryed to hack this area of our motors before? I am going to be going boost here shortly and would hate to be blowing a spark out due to weak igination. I will be trying this out too see if it is going to work, or anyone elses thoughts on it are welcome.

(DSMs are awsome for HP but handling leaves a little to be desired)

Coilpacks rule! One of the things I love about my WRX. I have seen streetbike coilpacks on a Honda B18 so I would think anythings possible.

I swapped out the stock ingntion with a Mallory Hyfire 6A (MSD 6A clone) and a MSD Blaster SS coil. No problems with spark up to 16 PSI.

I am a DSMer and 16psi is for p******:D (don`t take it personal) I have a car that is daily at 22psi and track days sees 30psi. Now keep in mind that I am no novice when it comes to boost or what is required to SAFELY run big boost. I have an AEM box here right now as well as a set of coils. I may try to dop this this weekend . I will update as I get time.
