coat the coil in liquid electrical tape. It can be found at Lows or any hardware store

yup sucks. . . i used silicone too, but after so long it starts to break up and crack also, because of the heat.

I just got some high temp silicone. It is just a temp fix until I can get some new coils.

So where are you actually putting the tape at? And where is the spark arcing at? I hear about this and would like more detail.

1) around the boot and the part that touches the coil pack support bracket?
2) the transparent part of the coil on the rear?

I actaully took silicone and put it from the middle of the boot all the way to the bottom of the plug. And then it was still leaking slightly so I covered that whole area again with electrical tape. works beautifully!

Hey welcome to nico. Glad you found your answer, and I actually learned there was such thing as liquid electrical tape.

Your info says you have a Z-31 with a Rb25. Post pics!
