I have a 2001.0 Pathfinder LE. was getting the infamous P1320 and thanks to all the fine people on this forum i have learned a lot on how to remedy it. have the OEM spark plugs already and have the Coils waiting to be ordered (are these right??) (http://www.ebay.com/itm/390778452557?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT). My problem is that 2 of the coil connectors broke, the white plastic pieces inside completely disintegrated and the push tabs came off. i have been looking and cant find any online and "everything Nissan" wants to sell the whole harness but they want almost $700 :wtf2: NO THANKS. i found these (http://www.ebay.com/itm/6PCS-Ignition-C ... 35&vxp=mtr) but i dont know if they will fit. any and all advice would be greatly appreciated

The coils should be correct based on the compatible vehicles list. Coil 1 is a different coil on the 2001 year. The other 5 are interchangable.

Those coils DO have a 3 pin connector. There is a note in the coil connector repair kit listing that says "(fit all directcoil 3 pin nissan)". Don't shoot me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure those will work fine.

How did these work out for you? I'd like to get a set for myself and for my wife's car.

honestly i've only done #s 2,4,& 6. but so far so good. i had a P1320 with a cyl 4 misfire with changing the plugs and the coils (also the connectors i mention above{tight fit on coil but worked}) managed to get rid of the cyl 4 misfire. still have the P1320 and now a cyl 3 misfire  (go figure). should get to that side maybe tomorrow. weird thing is now i have a pending P0505 code :gotme i did disconnect the IACV sensor a few times when working in that area could it be that i messed it up? what else could cause that? Are the misfire codes and that 505 code connected in any way? does the MAF sensor play any part in all this?

sorry for the rambling. but yeah so far so good with the coils decent price and fit.guess i'll see what happens after changing out the other three.

P.S if you get the connectors you will have to use the metal tabs they come with the oem tabs dont lock in to the new conncetor. the pins on the coil will push them back and not make contact.

Managed to get the last 3 done yestrday before the sun went down. everything went fine till i got another misfire code  swaped that new coil #5 with another and that cyl misfired...put that coil in all 5 cyl and each one misfired with it :wtf2: so if anyone is thinking of buying these install them or test them when you get them i waited to long and missed my return window.

P.S cleaned the iacv sensor and that pending 505 is gone..

on a side note im still getting a P1320 all plugs (oem) new, all but one coil new. could it be the one old coil? or should i try something else? i wanna get rid of this issue so i can move on to the fun stuff (Tires, Exhaust, LIFT!!) :naughty:
Thanks.

I think the P1320 code is a general "you're getting a misfire sometimes, somewhere". I had a coil go bad on me recently and once it started stumbling it threw P1320. Once it started misfiring really hard, it threw the code pointing me at the coil.

If you have once that you know is old/bad, definitely replace it. You can get Hitachi replacements on Amazon for around $50. Otherwise clear the code and wait it out till it throws a useful one. The other option I can think of is to run through the troubleshooting steps outlined in the FSM on page 504.

I did the troubleshooting from the FSM and on step 12 I get 11.9volts on every connector when I should have battery voltage my battery is at 12.8volts. I was getting that reading before changing the connectors and still after. How would o go bout getting the whole harness out where is it connected to. I might see if I find one at the junkyard can't hurt to try.
