how do you get codes from the rb20

With your ECU out, and your key in the ON position, you should see a little red light on the side of your ECU. There is also a set-screw that you have to turn either clockwise or counter-clockwise (can't remember which). After doing so you will notice the red light flashing. It will flash the first number of the code with long pauses between each flash, the second number is denoted by quicker flashes of the light.

Ex. Five long flashes = 5 and five short flashed = 5Code 55 = all clear

ok i figured out what i did i have 2 led lights on mine when you turn the ignition on turn the screw all the way clockwise it will flash 2,3,4,5,1 for what mode its in when it flashes 3 times turn it back not all the way but 3/4 of the way and it will flash the lights sepritly for the codes to bad i unplugged my battery b4 i figured this out so ill have to drive it to see if any codes come back it flashed code 55 so everything is ok

mine is the same i think you have a bad maf are 3 and 5 sheilded
