Codes P1140 and P1145-- Mass air or Camshaft sensor??

I have an 02 pathfinder and am getting P1145 and P1140. The power really cuts out on me when I get into it hard. It surges in and out of power. Is this problem related to the codes or are they a seperate issue? I replaced the camshaft sensors to clear the P1145 and the P1140 but heard others say they couldn't tell there was a performance issue with those error codes. I cleaned the MAF sensor and this improved the power surge issue dramatically. Is it possable the P1145 and the P1140 (which show as a fuel Air metering code from AutoZone) could have resulted from a dirty MAF sensor??
