Codes for Purge Volume Control, P1445?

I have a 1997 QX4 and I recently had a code come up for the Purge Volume Control as well as codes for o2 sensors. Ive used the search and much of what I saw was that it seems to be a common issue but nothing really about what to do about it. Has anyone had to deal with this before? Is this something I can do by myself? Thank you.
