Hey all,I've searched up and down for the meaning of the code 34 on my 89 240 ka24e. All I can find is the code descriptions for the 91-94 models. I am assuming that this is the coding for the ka24_De. It seems to be the "knock/detonation sensor"

Is it correct to assume that the code for the DE is the same for the E... and if so, why isn't there a listing of it on the ECU trouble code descriptions for the 1989 in places like this post?

http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/ecmcodes.htm

Any info would help. Gotta get this check engine light off before I can SMOG and register in Cali.

Thanks in advance

Wrong forum, but sounds like a knock sensor code. Moving this to it's appropriate community.
