Anyone had this issue with P1759 on 2006 M45 Infiniti. I took the car to the dealership today and was told that I needed a transmission replacement with a cost for parts and labor $8100. I ask the guy at the dealership if it's possible that the valvebody could be replaced and told me that my car did not have it. Anyone have any information associated with this problem

Pretty sure we have a valve body, if I recall people upgrade them? I'll let someone more knowledgeable chime in.

Welcome to the forum, albeit under dire circumstances.

Sheer mendacity or plain dishonesty. There is a valve body of course. The code is somewhat common and has been covered by one or more posts here. There is in fact a TSB on it, ITB10-006a, since 2010. It's a malfunction of one of the seven solenoids in the valve body. The TSB and the FSM recommends replacement of the valve body once the harness connectors to the TCM or the TCM itself check ok. The point is Nissan does not offer the solenoids or the TCM for sale as replacement parts, but the entire valve body. I think further search will lead to how you could obtain the solenoids. There is for example Rostra which has the one in question here (with two others as a unit) with part number 52-0538.
The alternative (safer and more expensive) is the valve body change.
