I am trying to get my car inspected but the code P1130 - Swirl control valve solenoid valve is coming up, the mechanic does not know what to do and the dealer does not know what the hell I am talking about, is this called something else in the Nissan dealer world? Please advise, this is very frustrating.

This code came up here recently. The FSM has a checkout procedures.

I'd find a different mechanic.

I was also going to suggest this remedy. A part of my normal maintenance schedule (whenever I clean my air filter, oil change, prop. shaft lube, etc.) I will pull all of the small hoses off the top of the engine and blow compressed air through them (of course remembering where they go and their orientation to the engine). I suggest trying that and seeing if the blocked hose for the swirl valve solenoid valve is your issue.

Thanks guys, appreciate all your help, funny thing is, I went to another mechanic yesterday and the P1130 code did not come up, just an O2 sensor I already knew about so maybe it was clogged some how but I definitely will pull the small hoses off the top and blow compressed air in them, great idea. Thanks again, I will let you know the out come.
