Code P0400 EGR Malfunction

Just wanted to share what I had to do to fix this. It wasn't the EGR valve at all. I removed and cleaned it as well as cleaning and checking the hoses and connection. Same code came back after 2-3 days of driving. Next I removed the EGR Vacuum Solenoid and blew it out with compressed air. Charcoal flew everywhere. So I replaced the charcoal canister and valve and blew out the lines from both ends of the vehicle. It's been a couple weeks and no CEL. There is actually a different code for the charcoal canister valve. Not sure what it is but I never saw that code come up.
