Ive got my 01 Qx4 with the VQ35De motor, and its throwing these 3 codes

P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

P1140 Intake Valve Timing Control Position Sensor, RH Bank 1

P1145 Intake Valve Timing Control Position Sensor, LH Bank 2

Just today I was going to buy both those sensors and hoped it fixed it, but I thought maybe Ill try to scan and erase ONE more time, then the 0335 code came up, I had never seen it before, just the other 2 codes since I bought the car.

Can anyone please help me on how to diagnose this now in light of this new code.

Thank you

Your best bet is to throw in a known good crank sensor & both bank cam sensors, & test drive for a long time.

That's three sensors, not two.

'01 PF FSM says bad cranks sensor can cause P1140/P1145. So I'd replacethe cranks sensor before the cam sensors.

The FSM has a bunch of things to check before you spend money.

Does the tach work? The crank sensor drives the tach.

Yes the tach works fine, I actually didnt read close enough, I thought the circuit malfunction error was for the 1140/1145 codes.

Can anyone tell me WHERE the 1140 145 sensors are from this picture, I circled what I thought was them, but I dont think I am right. I want to try to atleast clean connectors first. If anyone could help me with the circuit malfunction "location" so I can clean any of that possibly to Id appreciate it.

Thanks guys
