code 34 ect

i had a problem with my q as i stated before in the q45 forum. so i will not re post all of it.but getting right to the point . i changed the oil, fuel filter, and ran sea foam thru the old oil. drain and flushed it out .. went for a ride that was really interesting. had no power had a misfire and when i punched it i backfired ....... i thought was because i had low gas and had a hole bottle of octane boost in the tank.checked the injectors, 3 where shot but ok because i have some on the way. do you think i fouled a plug when it backfired ?

checked the codes and got a 13 and 34 .one which is a knock sensor because i had the harness pulled when checking the injectors and started it before i plug it in. and the other one a ect sensor which i have no clue what it is . what is a ect sensor and what dose it do ?

ECT= Engine coolant temperature sensor circuit. Could be any # of sensors but the easiest way to nail it down is to perform the self-diagnosis from the FSM on page EF&EC 72. Good luck.
