Code 34 But No Engine Light ON!!!

Code 34 But No Engine Light ON!!!
Is it going bad or is it already bad? That the only Code that pops up,over and over,did the ecu check.

The engine light does not come on in non-california models. ie engine light in driver dash. It will flash the codes in mode 2 though

mode 1 is the bulb check. in other words, when you key is in the on position, the bulb will light up.98s14inaz wrote:Check to see if the previous owner pulled the bulb.

34 doesn't turn the mil on. check knock sensor circuit wiring and knock sensor. service manual page ef & ec 116
