code 32 egr sensor

My code for my 90 300zx n/a check engine light for code 32 keeps coming on and off. In the book it says its an egr senor. Do i just need to replace the solniod or is it something else. Thanks

You might first try cleaning the electrical connection and verifying that the three vacuum lines are connected and in good condition.

As a side note ...... the EGR, AIV & PRVR solenoids are all identical. You could try swapping in one of the others to see if the code goes away before buying a new one.
