The green crud is a VERY common thing with the Z32, most of us here at NICO have seen and dealt with it by now solving problems.
You will find it on your injector connectors, coil-over-plug connectors, CAS, Coolant Temp Sensor, both PTU harness connections, idle circuit, and anywhere else where Nissan used those crappy little unsealed connectors with the little metal clip that get brittle and corroded, then cooked from the heat from electrical resistance from that corrosion.
One of the best things you can do for your Z32 is budget and plan to replace as many connectors under the hood as you can. I've cleaned or replaced everything I listed here, and have more to go...
