code 21 car wont start, no power, no crank

so i was driving on the freeway and out of no where my car just died! i tried to start it back up while rolling and it did absolutely nothing. i dropped the clutch to "push start" it and still nothing. when i turn the key over nothing happens at all, no dash lights, no crank, windows will not roll up. this happened the other day but after i let it sit for a little while it started back up, but now its doing it again but will not start. THE BATTERY IS GOOD and i check EVERY SINGLE FUSE MULTIPLE TIMES. please help

i replaced the ignition switch and still nothing. it seems like when the key is in the on position something just is not registering. its like it doesn't know the key is even in the ignition?

Happen to me, turned out to be my alternator.

check the white alternator fuse and the alternator belt

like i said.. all fuses are good.. even the alternator fuse.. but dont see how the alternator belt or even the alternator itself can kept the car from starting.... also i will say it again.. THE BATTERY IS GOOD.. its brand new and also 800 cca

you have a dead alternator. you deplete the battery when you drive. it replenishes when you are not driving.

ok. so even if it is the alternator, why is it that my car wont start, no dash lights or anything? my head lights still turn on, dome lights and i can even hear the door chime

the starter wont work without a strong battery. i think dash lights go out when you are starting the car. the accessories definitely lose power when starting. lights should be brighter when engine on if alternator is working. power windows need stong battery as well

its not the battery nor the alternator.. it was a relay.. i seriously just tapped on each relay one at a time and until i heard my ac blower turn on and sure enough it was just a relay.. honestly i have no idea why or how it is even possible but the one it ended up being was the H/L ret cont relay which is the head light relay.. it makes no sense tho cuz the headlights still worked when nothing else did. doesnt matter tho cuz it runs now

unlikely it is any of the head light relays. sounds like a loose wire under the relay box.
