tried searching first, found lots of people with code 12 problems but cant find any answers. have a 1991 240 with ka24de out of a 1992 with a set of kelford 272's, decked head, header, intake, shimed valve springs, remover all emisions. only have fuel pressure vac line, brake booster vac, pcv vac, but thats it. it starts idles realy realy rough and dies 10 seconds later. the ecu is throwing a code 12. the strange part is it didnt do this before i installed a walburo 255,but it hasnt had much power at all ever sence i put it back together. its running super rich for those 10 seconds as well. just put in a new tps, o2 sensor, checked for vac leaks. the pigtail for the maf has 4 conectors but only 3 wires, so i may have the wrong maf. the maf worked with this motor and harness on the car it came out of. know the ecu is good, just checked it on a friends car. getting good voltage on the maf as well. :wtf2:

Sounds like you have all the symptoms of a bad mass air flow sensor.

Code #12 leads back to your MAF

What are you using to tune for those aggressive cams?
