So I just got my '45 back (1994) after my mechanic replaced three injectors for me (all the rest spec'ed out exactly right). Two were high resistance, one was zero. We also replaced all the tough/brittle hoses under the plenum.
However, when I was looking over the service record after getting the car back I find that he didn't mention that the ECU was throwing two codes: 11 and 34. They are the crank position sensor and the knock sensor.
Could these have been caused by my bad injectors? I've always used high-test (I'm in Washington state though).
I'll be checking the ECU again in the next week but I'm wondering if I'm looking at having to pull the plenum again to replace the knock sensors.
BTW, can the crank position sensor be replaced easily? I suspect I'm looking at having to pull the cam covers to get at it but wondered if anyone can offer an insight.
thanks much,Stefan
