COD4 Pet peeve

The only bad thing about last stand is when there own teammate shoots them so your team doesnt get the point, thats the only "unfair" thing.

I only play hardcore, if i wanted to play a game where it takes a whole clip too kill someone i will go play halo.

When people get mad at me for sniping, they always yell camper and noob nlah blah, but umm what sniper runs around the battlefield like a chicken with his head cut-off?

and on S&D i never move with in the first ten seconds, i always count the noob tubes and the grenades and jus lmao

I pretty much came up with my own lingo on COd4 and i will let you guys in on it, its pretty funnySo juggernuat is the 50cent perkwhen you knife someone you yell out OJ!!when you flash someone ists the ray charles!Stun grenade is the Christopher reevesshotgun is the d!ck cheneyhead shots are called JFK'sback of the head shots are called abe lincolns

I specialize in Abe Lincolns then. That's why I love campers or even camping teams. It's easy to get behind them and execute them all with headshots. I have almost all of the assault rifle expert challenges (or is it marksman?) because of it.

I did in CounterStrike, but thats a whole 'nother beast. I loved just running around with the AWP though, only stopping and taking cover after I saw someone. Then I would go back to running (and jumping usually) around the map.

About 75% of the time I finish them off as well. But if I'm in the red theres no way in hell I'm poking my head out to try to finish him off and risk getting plugged by a single 9mm bullet.

I agree if my screen is all red i'll get behind some cover and spray through it hoping he gets hit. + alot of the guys with last stand blow. I get my usp and start trying to get a singe head shot on them, mean while hes pumped 50+ rnds at me not hitting the wall behind me. Tards.

Again, if they arent shooting at you and arent blocking your way, theres no point in taking that kill. I see it in the same light as spawn camping, its just a cheap kill.

I play alot of ffa so i cant grasp this one. If im on a team with my friends then im probally not going to take the kill if i can. But with a bunch of tards from PSN or Live im takin that kill every time.

And as far as campers i dont mind snipers and crap but some a$$ sitting in a corner in a room just waiting for some one to walk through is effing gay.

Ahh there you go. I dont play FFA much, I wouldnt care about getting my kill taken in there. I play team based games all the time, mostly S&D and thats where the last stand stealers really get to me. If it happens in any other mode, I dont care, but you're taking a lot more points from me if you do that in an S&D game compared to team deathmatch, FFA, headquarters, or any other mode.

If your playing S&D forget points and just have your team win.Other game modes are for point whoring, S&D is for the win :P (literally and figuratively) I honestly mind more in S&D then in headquarters or something because then am trying to get points...usually when I play S&D I just want to stop them from planting bomb/help get bomb planted.

Well of course thats the main objective, I dont think you guys get what I'm saying.

Ok, say we are playing S&D on Crossfire. The bomb is not planted. I kill someone in that bombed out building at the bottom of the street and put him into last stand. I go on my merry way not risking my life to kill him and knowing he cant get me. I'm much more useful alive and fighting for my team. So I inform everyone of whats up, and someone just happens to see and shoot the guy, even though the last stand guy wasnt looking at him. The guy in last stand has nothing to do with the objective, he's far away and not blocking a path towards any place we need to go. In situations like this, yes I get angry.

And S&D is much much better for points than Headquarters. I've gotten over 1500 points in matches in S&D without doing any challenges. I usually (probably 80% of the time) get over 1000.

I would of guessed its the other way around. When I play FFA I hate when people take my kills because of last stand. When it comes to team based games it never bothers me. As long as the last stander isnt killing my team mates. If I dont get the points, my team mates will so I dont care. Winning is what I care about.

I see what you are saying, but unless you play with a well organized group of friends, most strangers wont give a rats a$$ about your points.Forgive me, but I am the guy who is running while I see you bullets hit an enemy in front of me to save my a$$ and I will swoop by the last stander and shank my way to +10 points even tho you saved me (PS last standers can stab)

And for campers...Camping shouldnt be a style of play (unless its a defend-team based match or when reloading/regenerating). When I play COD4 I see enough claymores; the cod4 community doesnt need players acting like one.-->end rant<--

if you got the guy into last stand, why stop shooting and run away? especially if you're using a full-auto? I'm an M16 guy, and even I keep shooting until I get my +10.

if you're in the red, simply turn a corner, chug a flash, and finish up what you started.

One thing that is starting to bother me is people who dont know what perks to use in Hardcore anything. The other day I got stuck with a clan who all used Stopping Power, Martyrdom and one main weapon. I mean its Hardcore, one good shot to the chest or head and hes down. Martyrdom is fvching stupid, you die and you take a couple team mates with you.

My Hardcore set up is a sniper rifle as my main weapon, SMG or Assault Rifle as secondary weapon. Then claymores and last stand and Iam off to play Hardcore.

Oh and i HATE team mates that just watch you die while you are in last stand in hardcore. This one kid in my team came up to me in last stand and tried to "tea bag" me and started laughing, then he got his balls chopped off for trying to do so. Dont f*** with me if your not going to help the team win.

My thoughts on last stand are that if you wan't the +10 finish the kill, some of these guys out there are really good with pistols so its never a good idea to leave one alone.

Well he's going to die in 10 seconds anyway, theres really not a big point in trying to finish off if you think he will die on his own. If a guy is really good with a pistol, its a risk. If hes aiming at the corner of the wall youre hiding behind, he still has a good chance of hitting you if you are blind. And throwing a grenade at him is a total waste of a frag in S&D, unless you have the 3 frag perk on. Those things come in handy in S&D if you know how to use them.

i always run UAV jammer, nothing tops it, if im sniping, it takes what two seconds too pick up another weapon off the ground, but i also abuse the pistol and love it, i can run around with the pistol an still get top kills, i mean two shots =kill from any range is pretty nice.

Everytime I read this thread this is weird as hell because my name is Sean, and Its akward that your flirting with me.

I think my biggest pet peave with COD is that regular mode if for people who suck to much to figure out cover, and hardcore mode is for people that suck to much to aim.

I want to suck somewhere in between.... (thats what she said)

Seriously though, its bull**** how many shots it takes to kill someone in regular mode. At the same time, Hardcore is bull****. I do like the more tactical and careful game play, but people don't even have to aim. Take what ever automatic and spray it over there...if one of the bullets comes with in a few inches of the enemy they die. Literally any gun, at any point on the body will kill the target...thats not realism, and in many cases its not even really skill.

It needs to be 2-4 hits depending on location and weapon, single shot from sniper rifles as long as its not a limb. Hardcore seemed cool for a while, and I still play it...but it is no where what it could/should be.

the quick deaths is true, you get the noobs with the P90 and deep impact that jus spray through walls, gets annoying.

last stand gets on my nerves becuase i noticed the split second there falliing they become invincable so ur wasting bullets then u have to load.. GAY-A-SUARUS REX!
