COD4 issues...

Have any of you guys experience really slow setup times on COD4.

im running the ps3 and it gets to the screen where you find an online game and it takes like 15+ minutes to get through that downloading game settings.

it used to take about 10 seconds and it randomly changed...anybody with any clues?

ive never had a problem, ps3 or 360

reboot the ps3, disable then re-enable the connection, then try again. try switching rooms (ie: ground wars to hardcore team dm). after that, idk i've waited like 5 mins before, but then the game lagged out anyways, so i just went to another room and the game booted right up. my guess is its either your connection or server overload.

ive never had to wait more that probablt ten seconds to jhoin a game on my 360///you may have issures with your router settings, check them oujt.

when it takes a long time I never get to a room. When i do everything is fine, no lagging no hesitating. It goes pretty quick. we have three computers on our server, but none of them are on when im trying to get on.

I will try to reboot and maybe reset my connection. It sucks because I finally started getting kills too...

funny how it seems that youre doing your best and then bam, no more gaming for some reason. happens every time. i usually just give up and see how many kills i can no scope with the barret and the deagle

so apparently the game makers had some server issues that they were supposed to have a patch made for. but either way, im back on and getting smoked every 10 seconds after I spawn...

i wonder if there is an award for the most killed person in the game?

Back when I still played COD4 I never had any trouble but that was about 2 months ago.

well I reset all my crap and it works like a charm. it takes about a minute to get on but when I do everything is smooth sailing
