Yeah, me too. Especially since the 250 HDD won't be available seperately, at least from what I have read so far. I was going to pick up a PS3, but this looks too good to pass up...marlin29311 wrote:Wow...kinda makes me wish I needed one - that's a pretty good deal.
Seconded, thats all i want. And it better not be 200 dollars.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Can I just buy a 250GB HDD? That's all I care about.
They should REPLACE the 120GB HDD with the 250GB.Chaotic_Warlord wrote:So let's be honest, unless your a super modern Warfare fan boi you only want this for the 250GB HDD, hopefully MS realizes this and releases it as an upgrade option, but I highly doubt it. This would mean that they would have to drop the price of the 120GB HDD which would cause it to not sell at all, because really, would you rather drop $200+ on a 250GB HDD or $150 on the 120GB HDD?
Yes it will.eBay 10mins after the first one is sold.sil80_chris wrote:On Xbox live they stated in a video that the 250gb HDD would not be sold separately...
Better still would be to update the 30's internal software to allow us to utilize the USB slots with an external HDD. After all how kickass would it be to use a 5000GB or 1TB external HDD for storage. The read/write speeds would be about the same as the xbox 360's HDD.MinisterofDOOM wrote:

I can't believe they wouldn't start making bigger hard drives available now that Games on Demand is up and running. They NEED to support that feature with bigger hard drives or it isn't doing anyone any good.
because 250>240?Chaotic_Warlord wrote: why buy 1 250GB HDD if it's the same price as 2 brand new 120GB HDD's?
My point is that if the current 120GB HDD brand new is priced @ $150 than the MS logic would be to drop the price of the 120GB HDD purchase price to roughly $100-125 and price the new 250GB HDD around $200 - 250. I say this because the 60GB HDD was priced around the $125-150 range before the 120GB was released and then they dropped the price to move more of those units.anti_flag_army wrote:because 250>240?
Im with this one, i'm not sure i see the logic in paying more for less hdd space and less convince, if it the 250 gb cost twice as much as the 120 then it would be cheaper per GB in price. Now if they dropped the price of the 120 gig then it would make a little more sense, but still 2 hard drives would be a pain.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Of course I'd rather have one than two, unless the 360 has magically gained the ability to use two hard drives at once. Swapping hard drives is fail.
I'm wondering if to prevent this very osrt of thing from happening and to require users to have to purchase the complete bundle just to get the hard drive the hard drive if there is a different disc required to transfer files than the one included with the hard drive upgrades.MinisterofDOOM wrote:I'd trade my 120 gig drive plus some cashola...except there's the logistical issue of getting all my games and saves off it.
I do believe there is an accessory that you can buy that allows you to transfer all the stuff you have on your HDD to your PC for this very issue. I think it's like $30, I'll see if I can find it and post up a link later.MinisterofDOOM wrote:I'd trade my 120 gig drive plus some cashola...except there's the logistical issue of getting all my games and saves off it.
