Hi guys....

Does this happen to you?

I've always noticed that my car has an irregular idle (meaning that the idle sometimes will be at 1000 other times at 700-800).

Today I realized when I turn on my fan (cockpit fan not the one in the engine bay) the idle goes up to 1000 and when its off it goes back to 700-800.

Is this normal? If not, what can be the source of the problem?

I am guessing its because of my non-electrical cooling fan in the engine.... having to create more wind for the cockpit by spinning more (hence higher idle), but I doubt that.

Thanks guys.-Jay

My idle is all messed up, I think it's my throttle cable/butterfly being stuck or somethning...anyone got any ideas?

I have a problem with my temperature coolant sensor. I changed it today, but it still threw an ecu code 13. So i played around with the harness, and now it idles fine and no engine fan. I otherwise had similar problems but now it seems fine. I think i need to really get a new temp contr harness.
