DOes anyone know if the 17x9 Mustang Cobra R rims would fit? I am going to be putting in an RB25 this summers so I will need much wider rims, I plan to do the 5 lug swap so I can get better rim selection and fit my skyline brakes. Are there any other relatively cheap OE rims that are rather wide and fit?

I have seen the CObra R's around the net for anywhere between 600-900 for he set.

1. why?2.why?3. WHY?4. No they dont fit, wrong offset and hub bore.5. 300ZX wheels fit fine, with spacers to clear coilovers.6. why dont you go but a good, light, correct fitting wheel with that 900 dollars?

-chetCorba-R wheels under 200/piece are knock-offs, and even the stock cobra-R wheel was heavy.

having owned a mustang... I like those rims but NOT on a 240. For one thing they are becoming as common on cheap import cars as a big wing, and for another is that there are so many better looking wheels out there...

try these places.

and if width is what you are going for then pony up the dough and get some Volks or Advans

(Just my opinions)

I don't care that much about style right now, putting in the RB25, and upping my suspension are gonna run me so much I can't afford 400 dollar a piece rims, and with a 400 or more HP 240SX i figured I'd need wider rims. I was looking at 300ZX rims before, guess I'll go back to them as my plan

u lost me Lucas :( I don't quite understand what not having enough cash to buy super expensive rims after already spending like 8k on my car has to do with why I am doing it? I am doing it because I love my Nissan. I want to have something I can build and be proud of, something nice and fun, uncommon and exciting. I am building it for my personal pleasure. I think that would mean my heart is in the right place? well, anyways... thanks for the reply.

no no... sorry if I came off the wrong way. My bad.

I stand behind what you are doing 100%, thats what this sport is all about

I guess I just misread your post to begin with, I didnt see that you were putting in the new motor or even that you have skyline brakes. I thought you were just wanting to put on the cobra rims to get the extra width, which is a good, but I assumed it was one of the only mods you were doing. I see too many cars around my area that are modified just for looks and dont have the motor or suspension to back it up... I just jumped the gun on my response... sorry about that, guess I should get my glasses checked
