Link to it somewhere at http://www.jgulati.com

He probably had other life problems, and decided this would be a way to send a political message while killing himself as previously planned.

How embarrassing. My link has always worked in the past. I promise this if the first time.

It's fixed.

And to everyone, this is not an opening for political views or theories. It's just a sad occurance. If this thread sparks a political battle...the proverbial finger is already on the proverbial trigger.

I love you guys.

A 25-year-old from Georgia who was distraught over President Bush's re-election apparently killed himself at Ground Zero

Maybe I'll slit my wrist because they cancelled The Chris Isaak show.

Got what he deserved. No one feels sorry for a person willing to take their own life. I have NO compassion for people who commit suicide

Even the most basic mammals have been known to show compassion towards one of their own. What's most amazing is when one species shows that same compassion to another.

We're at the top of the food chain yet we lack that basic compassion. To ridicule a man that obviously fell so low, to a point where he saw no way out but to end his own life...and you wonder what's wrong with the world. This post was a mistake. I'm sorry I posted it.

I'm sorry I feel no remorse for someone that consciously took their own life, especially when it was done in such a fashion.

Life sucks at times, something everyone has to live through.

This guy obviously wasn't man enough to put up with life, he ran from it, away from his fiance, away from his responsibilities, away from everything. Running solves nothing... it only makes it worse.

I agree with you whole heartedly nismo_freak. Any christian person would never even ponder this seriously. Nothign is worth taking your life over. He'll have a nice stay in hell.

LOL... no Christian person, that's a good joke. I too have no compasion for these people though. It's the easy way out. By killing yourself, you are simply pawning your problems off on the ones that love you, making their lives miserable instead of yours. No worth in that whatsoever.

well I guess he showed us! Dumbass, stupid and no class.I got seriously sucidal once but when I sat down and thought about it I realized no matter how bad I felt I didn`t want to put my family through that, it`s just weak and selfish. I`m sure we have at least one member here who has been touched by sucide and could agree. I won`t let the world beat me, I`ll stay alive if only to spite it.

Here's my problem, he did it to protest Bush's asswhooping on Kerry.

In most cases I would find it honorable to die for a cause.... BUT NOT OF YOUR OWN ACCORD!

What a failure, people who commit suicide are idiots. I was almost at that point at one time, I think back on it and realize how much of a retard I must've been.

I still dont think it was a politically motivated suicide. Bush's victory was just a cover for him being depressed or something.

BRILLIANT!

I agree - I have seen many family members of suicide victims suffer needlessly, and it's horrible to watch. While I feel compassion for the guy as a human being, I also know that suicide leaves a trail of emotional devastation in its wake.

BTW, the Christian position is that suicide is considered the only "unforgiveable" sin. We have been directed to treat life as precious, and that we are all here for a purpose. To interfere with that is not God's will, and it is the only sin one cannot seek forgiveness for (for obvious reasons). Not a matter of whether you believe this way or not, just clarifying for anyone who wasn't aware.

It's doubtful that any "message" this guy wanted to send will last more than a week in the collective memory of the populace. Truly a waste.

I read about this a few days ago on one of the news sites I check up on frequently. I can't feel sorry for the guy because he had no respect for the family members and friends he would be devastating by his actions. Especially his close family and his fiance. Someone like that does not deserve to contribute to the gene pool.

I thought of suicide once. When I was 17. But something happened and I've held onto life ever since then with ever growing optimism. I'll never look at life the same as I did that time. Thank Goodness
