seems like your goal should be worded different if a stock hood won't close over it.
"OUR GOAL:
-to make this car run as if this motor belongs in it ********* JOB COMPLETED GOALS HAVE BEEN MET*********"

It looks like it sits higher than it should. But I bet its fun regardless. I want a VQ swap but they are a b**** to wire.

i'm guessing you had to make custom ac lines and power steering lines too right?

"to make this car .......RUN........as if this motor belongs in it"

i ment engine wise (run) nothing to do w/ the fittment of the hood :bigthumb:

the significance that this car holds:

-to make a package deal availible for ppl that would like to do this swap.

- have all the stock gauges work w/ the VQ engine speedo/rpm/water/fuel
and have a functioning OBD2 port to pull codes (witch it does) as you can tell in the vid no need for AEM or any other stanalone unit just plug in and go...

-so you can install one as easy as possible, including a PLUG AND PLAY wiring harness and custom made mounts that position the engine so you dont have to cut grind or do any fabbing. this engine dropped right in with out doing any of that.

more of this will be covered in our next vid when car is back from paint.

MOTOMAN:
this car is a V6 dude it has 2 headers one on each side this is a VQ35de out of a 07 infinity
it says V6 on the engine cover :bigthumb:

yes custome AC and power streeing line were made... car blows cold as ICE AC and has great power steering not hard at all to do very simple :bigthumb:

fully aware that its a v6 and requires 2 exhaust manifolds (headers). the dude in the vid said header, thats where the joke was. i was jut yankin your chain. dont take offense to it. like i said though good job on the clean swap. i was actually thinking about doing this swap in my car. i know a guy that wants me to put a 2jz in his 350 and i was pondering the idea of using his engine.

thats because only that side needed to be worked on the other side fit just fine. as stated.. HEADER(x1) on that side needed a bit of tig welding for clearence.
no offense dude just trying to correct any miscommunication :bigthumb:

anyways thank you for your compliment on the clean install we had the engine bay painted befor we put the swap in it so that way the engine bay would look nice with the engine in it. i test drove the car and loved it :dblthumb:
if you have the chance to do it..i say go for it... very dope!

Sweet. I keep hearing you either have to wire it up a 95 maxima ECU, Other ECU's but with a piggy back and flash to disable the Safety crap, or Standalone.

If you made it Plug and play, I'd attempt a VQ. So far haven't seen anything close to that yet.
