clutchline question

Definitely not a newby but needed confirmation regarding clutch line removal.

I have removed my damper and am currently replacing the headline because the old clutch line has a hole in it. Can I get rid of the rubber hose that the hardline plugs into before it connects to the slave cylinder. That is, connect hardline directly into the slave cylinder. I m bending my own lines so fitment is not an issue.

The hard line won't go straight into the slave cylinder but you can do that with a SS clutch line.
