Okay I all ready searched for it. So to do this you have to match the rpm to what though. The Reason is im taking it to shop to replace the master clutch cyclinder and slave its all ready given out once if it happens . So maybe this time i ll be prepared. If i dont get it ill do what my teacher said" Start the car in gear and go to shift he said while still rolling turn it off then put it 2nd gear and turn back on so on so on. thanks in Advance

you don't need to turn the car off and back on.

start the car in first, and when you hit say 3k rpm, back off the gas a bit, slide out of first, let the revs drop, and give it slight pressure into 2nd. it should pop in when the rpm's are right.

Assuming your engine and transmission are stock, the gearshifts are something like this, assuming you rev to 3000 in each gear and lose minimal speed between shifts:

2nd - 18003rd - 21004th- 23005th - 2500

So, in 1st gear, let the engine get up to 3000 RPM. Get off the gas just long enough to slip the shifter out of 1st, and let the revs drop to ABOUT 1800. Feel it out, but the stick should slide right into second. Then you take 2nd gear to 3000 RPM, and so on and so forth. It's not a science... it's a "feeling" thing. Of course you could calculate exactly what RPM the transmission will be spinning at at a given speed by considering your wheel diameter, final drive ratio and gearing, and using THAT number to determine what RPM to float the tach at before slipping into gear... or you can feel it out. IMHO, not only is the later more realistic, but it's a LOT easier!

the easiest way to find the rpm is just shift it normally

these are made up numbers but it should give you the idea:

say you want to shift from 1st -2ndyoure at 3krpm and at 15mph. you shift normally to 2nd gear and it drops the rpm to say 2.1krpm. thats the rpm you're looking for.

so next time you would want to shift from 1st -2nd without the clutch pedal you'll yank the shifter from 1st-2nd at about 3000rpm and wait till its 2100rpm and shove the shifter into 2nd and it should be a perfect smooth shift without any jolts.

you can do this from any gear 1st-5th and 5th-1st doesnt matter. shifting up you let the rpm drop to the appropriate # shifting down you hit the throttle to match.

in racing it's necessary to match rpms when clutch shifting anyway so you don't suddenly jolt your xxxxhp vehicle and spin out and DIE while cornering

The only time you need to shut off the car is when you stop. Every time you stop. Stop signs, stop lights, etc.

When you come to a stop light, put the car in neutral, stop, shut it off, put it in 1st (it'll be tough to get in 1st with out the clutch), then start the car in gear while using the throttle. The car will want to jump and you might peel out a bit, but it's the only way to do it. Other than just blowing through red lights. Oh, and don't stop uphill.
