clutch wont go in reverse...ugh

ok so i got my car running. got a radiator and put it all back together...and once we figured the timing out, she started up and run just fine.

but my transmission wont go in reverse. what should i look for if i can fix it? dude said it worked fine for him. can i fix it or rebuild my transmission, or do i need a different one?

as for now im just gonna slow fix the body and source out black interior parts.

also how would i go about getting a dodge viper srt 10 shifter knob on my stock shifter??? my cousin got it for me out of a wrecked viper at the junkyard....

edit: sorry for the stupid title to this thread.i ment transmission. my mind is in other places, as i have court in the morning so im worried bout what their gonna say/do....

no need to be fed up with yourself just forget about it for tonight and try to figure it out tomorrow. in the end, it will most likely be less time consuming, and possibly more cost effective, to replace the trans. than rebuilding the gearset. for what its worth, i apologize for my part in adding to your frustration. good luck!
