ok so i just had my slave and slave resevoir replaced and brakes/clutch bled yesterday. i went to drive it home, and noticed that the clutch engages once its right off the floor, beside the point the clutch shouldn't even HAVE to go to the floor. then i noticed that when i have the pedal in, i can still hear the clutch and flywheel meeting. so i was thinkin bad throw out bearing, but i searched and my it doesnt seem like the TOB. also, i have next to no umph at the wheels when im driving. the engine will rev and everything, but it doesnt go anywhere fast. so now im thinkin bad pressure plate? maybe even bad clutch?? im calling the shop back tomorrow when the mechanic that worked on my baby is in.

what kinda clutch are you running? I have a ACT extreme race 6 puck and it grabs as soon as you let the pedel up off the floorand you have to have the clutch all the way in so it disengages all they way

The way you word it now it definatly sounds like the clutch. Man.. you should have changed it before you dropped the motor in now its gonna be a pia. Make sure you order the clutch kit and not just the disk. good luck

Your engagement point on the pedal is too far in. Adjust it out a bit. You can do that by turning the clutch master cylinder rod at the point where it connects to the clutch pedal. After you do that, bleed the system again.

I had this same problem. I put a new clutch in a friends car, replaced the master and slave cylinder and still had very little pressure after bleeding the system. There are actually 2 bleeder valves in the clutch system. If you are under the car follow the clutch line from the transmission up to where the line mounts on the frame rail and you will see another bleeder valve. try bleeding that one first, then the slave cylinder on the transmission. See if that works. Maybe the shop didnt bleed the system right. Good luck
