i went out today and started up the ol 240 and my clutch pedal seemed really soft only had a few inches between fully engaged and disengaged but still ran just fine shifting and everythingwent out a few hours later and same thing only even less space between. this time maybe 2 inches between full and none.just wondering air in the lines? need new clutch?any help will be appreciated

also the engine is running really rough almost as if a piston isnt firing and i notice a decrease in power but sometimes it will kick back in and run fine.i changed the plugs and fuel filter any other suggestions? still does that right at start up but kicks in quickly.i know the ol girl needs some help but i love my 240... could use a paint job as well lol

if anyone is looking for it i have a sr20 turbo aftermarket exhaust manifold and tuned sr20 ecu im trying to get rid of if anyone is looking for any of thosei can get pictures if ur interested

it could b air in the lines just bleed them and then c what happens. was the clutch always soft ? pressure plate might b worn out. for the loss of power check for a mis code with a scan tool ( can use a cheap one at sum auto parts stores jus ask them). if one mis check fuel pressure or an ignition problem.

You should also check your master and slave cylinders for leaks. Bleeding is easy, you just need two people. There is a valve on the slave cylinder that you open when someone is pressing on the clutch pedal and close before they let go. Keep repeating this until you don't see any bubbles coming out of the fluid.
