Hey guys,

My bad luck wins again! I am glad I have a sense of humor or I think someone would be dead by now. Anyway, this is kind of a funny story, so please bare with me. So my friend calls me up because his van broke down. He is at his house luckily, but he needs to go somewhere. So I go to pick him up. On my way, I pull out on a busy intersection. I feel something bucking, either the rear or the transmission locked up for a second. Everything felt/sounded fine so I kept going. I come to a stop sign and I try to go. I let out the clutch, and the car is bucking and I feel something slapping around in the transmission and I can feel it through the gear shifter. The clutch pedal still felt fine and I could still get it in gear and move the car, but then it would sound like something was slapping around in the transmission, making noise, and then stalling out. We pushed the car for about the mile because I knew I broke something, and didn't want to break anything else. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions on what could have went wrong or broke. Do you think it could be a bearing in the transmission, or the clutch, or something else in the transmission? Thank you in advanced for any suggestions......

FTW

If the clutch went in and out fine, it sounds like something brokey in the transmission...only way to really tell will be to open it...but the fact that it stalled is weird...

Dauntless told me that the transmission's from the KA and the SR were the same, all you had to do was swap the bell housings. My friend has an extra engine and transmission, so hopefully he will sell it to me.
