I am sure my clutch is on its way and i was curious as to if it is worth doing myself or getting it done at a shop.. ???

What do you guys think? Is it really dificult or a pain?

meh... its not too easy if you dont know what your doing, i would say that you should probobly get it done at a shop if your unsure of your ability

what is your level of skill? transmission is heavy, awkward, and requires a full set of hand tools. also, if you mess up you will not be happy. i would say even a monkey could do it on a 240 as long as someone was watching over his shoulder and helping out. good car to learn on but you dont want to learn the hard way. hope im being clear

I also need the clutch swap in my '91 240SX. I've got a quote of $487.50 from a Nissan dealer for this work (labor only). Is this reasonable? Is there anybody who can show a clutch swap project for this model? I'd like to see how hard it is for diy. Thanks.

yes, that is a reasonable price on labor from a dealership.
