So I have no idea what would cause this hoping that some mechanical people can lend their thoughts.

I was driving and accelerating and going to change into third gear and when I pushed the clutch peddle down it stuck to the floor and the clutch didn't engage. I pushed the pedal again and it came back out and I was able to re-engage the clutch and select third gear. The total time frame was about 2-3 seconds. Then I could smell burnt clutch.

Now in order for me to get any kind of warranty I have to take a 2 hour drive so I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before with their 6 speeds?

I apologize in advance if this confuses anyone because it confused me, it's also a little difficult to explain. Any help/thoughts would be awesome!

maybe its a one time thing but it almost sounds like the master cylinder is going out. the same thing happened to me when mine gave out and it should be under warranty

I would just take it to the dealer... but it sounds like the clutch could need to be bled.

Yup, could be the cylinder. I'd take it to the dealer. You don't want this happening again and having it fail all together.

Took it to the dealership. They said it had something to do with the actual pedal and some of the parts... It was a bad explanation. It wasn't the clutch itself that failed. I had them inspect it just to be sure and they said the clutch was good. I now have to wait for the parts to come in. Once they install the parts I will let everyone know more about what exactly it was.

Thanks everyone!
