so i have currently 17,000 miles on my car. its a 2004

i have never drove another Z before so i wanted to ask.

do all the Z's have such a short engagment point?

i barely have to press down for the clutch to engage.

i thought if was normal, untill i tried to do this DIY

when i did the DIY, it didnt even touch the stoppers.. i have to put about 4 of thoes bad boys on before it would even touch?

when you press down on the clutch you are disengaging it, when you let off you are engaging the clutch

that little DIY is to trigger the clutch saftey switch without having to depress the pedal as far (which by the way I think is stupid)

check the clevis at the pedal, it shoudl have a hair of free play before it starts to move the pushrod, if not, adjust the pushrod in or out as needed to achieve that bit of freeplay
