I'm gonna be running a NISMO Clutch Kit designed for the SR20. (not the uber expensive multi-plate system, the lower one)

Kit comes with Flywheel, Clutch, pressure plate and some hardware,

Downpipe I'm gonna be running is a Kakimoto Standard CA pipe,

those are just my plans,

The 4-puck is for super-extreme street applications... :) ... no actually it was all i could afford to do when i pulled the transmission and found that 1/8 of my clutch disk was missing! I found a 4 puck disk for the quick grab and the stock pressure plate to reduce the hard pedal pressure. It was a bit harsh at first, but with 7 psi break in boost, i was chirping into 4th!!

so is that an sr20 disc or what? and just to clear this up, you can use an sr20det pressure plate if you use the matching flywheel, right? and the actual disc is interchangable between the sr and the ca? im realy confused on the whole clutch thing.

Here's another question...can you use the KA24DE clutch and flywheel in a CA? Oh wait...my transmission is a hybrid...SR transmission in a CA bellhousing, I dunno what will fit :) I have a clutch coming that will definitely fit, but I'd like to wear the old KA clutch out the rest of the way getting used to driving the beast :) besides, then I can set the rev limit a little lower and teach my best friends (who are helping me with the swap) how to drive standard without hurting anything important.

well you can use a 225mm disk and i think the sr uses a 240mm disk. so you cannot use the CA flywheel and an sr disk. you can order just the disk from various places, but you are gonna be riding on an old loose pressure plate.

HOWEVER, the SR flywheel has been known to work in the CA motor, and that means you can use the SR flywheel (get a lightweight one while your at it) and you can use the sr clutch disk and the sr pressure plate.

OR you can wait a bit and wait till Enjuku Racing develops a CA18DET pressure plate and disk for various applications. that way you can retain the stock flywheel (save $$) and get a proven application. I think they will have 4 stages for a pressure plate. I will let you all know when it releases, b/c i am curious as to how well it turns out.

im using a stock replacement clutch for an 86 stanza. it bolts right up, and its only 90 bucks. this is only for breakin though, id rather have a crappy clutch blow up then my diff or transmission. i havent found any hi po clutches for the stanza yet.

Hey,isn't the the s12 transmission the same???? just different gear ratio??? i would think the ca18et from the s12 would use the same clutch ,pressure plate, and bearings...if so you can call around and get aftermarket clutch for a 86-87 s12 ca18et.. i am planning on buying myself a 6 or 8 puck and lightend flywheel for a ca18et
