i just finished installing a new clutch, everything is done correctly, the bearing, the arm, the plate, the disk, but the pedal goes to the floor and stays there, can anyone offer advice, this is the first time ive done a new clutch on this car...dont really know how to bleed either, never had to, thanx

it sounds like to me that you need to bleed your clutch.

you probably got air in the system when you reinstalled the slave cylinder when you pushed the piston down. to make your life easier, bypass the damper box. take the rubber line that goes from the clutch master and screw it directly to the hardline coming from the clutch master, it will give you a little stiffer clutch pedal, but the feel is so much better. not to mention it will only take you 5 mins to bleed vs the 30 mins trying to get all the air out of that stupid box and loop the damper has.
