As the topic states, I need a clutch suggestion. Stock power vh45de going in to a 240sx. I drift the car mainly, so it has to be able to take abuse.

N/A or TT? I know either will work, but is there a big cost difference in what can handle the torque?

TT definitely. Stock TT is made to handle the same power levels as a VH, you would shred an NA clutch with that much torque.

I'm using a stock NA clutch and it has never slipped. I beat on the car and Autocross with it and it's never missed a beat. ~5K miles on it.

Car: lots of unique hot rods, and customs, with modern engines, and a good truck to pull the trailer.

I have used the Centerforce II clutch on 3, Exedy 6 puck/lgtnd flywhl setup on a few, and the clutchmasters on a few. The stock unit has been used on a few customers cars, but they dont last to any real use, as they dont have enough clamping force to hold the torque of the VH.
What really matters is that you get a good unit with a strong clamping force to hold the torque, and dont double clutch it, you'll wear it out in no time. Use the SS line to keep the clutch pressure up, rubber has flex/expansion. Be sure to grease the shaft, use a bushing, roller are ok too.

Always use ARP bolts for clutch to flywheel, flywheel to crank.
