When the to bearing goes out it starts to make noise when the clutch is depressed.

What do you mean exactly by stiffening up sometimes? Do you still have the damper box in the clutch hydraulics?

Your to bearing may be getting stuck on the input shaft. Time for at least a new bearing. New clutch maybe while you have it all apart.

I have an S14 transmission in my S13. I am using my S13 clutch line and slave cylinder. When I drive my car, as soon as I press the clutch pedal to shift gears, my pedal would not return. It only returns half way of what was pressed in. I already tried different clutch pedals and master cylinders and bled the line and it is still doing it. so what do you think is the problem? by the way I tried adjusting it from the pedal too.

Have you gotten rid of the damper valve/circuit? Sounds hydraulic. The damper is crap, gets gummed up and bleeding with it in the circuit is a PIA. There is a posting on how to remove, rebleed. I bet that will take care of your problem.
